SOLO lesson 6 – taking our writing from multi-structural to relational

As the lesson 5 posts showed this lesson followed on a fact gathering lesson by trying to encourage more detailed extended writing. Year 7 used a framework based around the principle of writing addresses, several classes used variations on a theme.

Pupils then set up their own paragraph using the structure. Some found this easy while others struggled even with support.

Year 8 and 9 also used frameworks. The pupils are getting better at supporting each other and offering advice to their peers on how to add detail to their work.
